What is a UP 'Area Profile'?

The 1999 UP employee timetables show a reference book available for each
service unit called an 'Area Profile'. Last year's timetable shows that
this book is no longer available.

Can anyone contribute what was contained in these 'Area Profiles'?

8 1/2 x 11 wire coil bound book.

I have one labeled "Twin City Area Profiles 1998" about 75 pages
contains track charts and road crossings lists, division maps.
